The two entities are exercising an agreement to encourage schoolboys and girls at the Betis foundation's Football Academy who belong to low-income families.
Antonio Pulido, the president ofthe Fundación Cajasol, was the first to speak after both parties had signed the collaboration agreement: "I hope that these grants, with which we help these kids play sports, also help a lot of them to become properly integrated in society".
"We now have more than 200 children at the Academy thanks to Fundación Cajasol, whom we would like to thank for all the years we have worked together and those which are yet to come", replied Rafael Gordillo, president of the Fundación del Real Betis Balompié. Finally, the head of Betis, Miguel Guillén, thanked all parties for their involvement in the agreement and stated "I am told that they are doing some fantastic work and that the kids are using sports to help them grow in the areas we have mentioned".
