- A local lad, he was born in Bilbao on 4 May 1993.
- He spent the 2012/13 season with Athletic Club's second feeder team, CD Basconia.
- The following campaign he turned out for Jose Angel Ziganda's Athletic B, where he would spend two years.
- He was a key figure as the reserves won promotion to the Liga Adelante last term.
- He is currently studying for a degree in engineering at the University of the Basque Country (UPV).
- He made the breakthrough for the Athletic first team this season, being handed his debut on 14 August 2015.
- He scored his first goal for Athletic this past weekend, breaking the deadlock in the 1-1 draw with Granada CF.
- This was only the second goal of his professional career, having also netted for Athletic B against Lugo earlier this campaign.
- He has won one trophy with Los Leones, the 2015 Spanish Super Cup.
- He was one of only two players to clock up more than 3,000 minutes of game time for Athletic B last season. The other was Sabin Merino.
