  • You cannot lose sight of Adrian Gonzalez, because the "Madrileño" has started the season in the best possible way. Two goals in as many games. With these goals he has already scored with six different teams from LaLiga.
  • Care must be taken with left-footed players, because they are capable to score great goals. James and Bale did it against R. Betis and Caicedo against Villarreal CF.
  • If your team is going to face a Galician side you must pay attention. RC Celta is co-leader after two matchdays and RC Deportivo has two points and is displaying a great football.
  • For the third matchday, there are five teams to which nobody has ever been able to win, so far. FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Club Atletico Madrid, Real Sociedad and R. Sporting still do not know what is conceding a single goal.
  • In these two matchdays we have learned that players who have returned to LaLiga arrive with great strength. Roberto Soldado, the Villarreal striker, averaged a goal per game in his return to the top domestic competition.
  • Goals from free kicks are the specialty of the teams playing at home. Salva Sevilla (RCD Espanyol) did it in the match between Espanyol and Getafe CF. Verza, Levante midfielder, took away the top corner cobwebs of Sergio Alvarez´s goal. The Frenchman Antoine Griezmann, Atletico Madrid striker, did the same in the 16th minute of play in the match between the "rojiblancos" and Las Palmas. James Rodriguez would not miss the party and scored against R. Betis from a direct free kick.
  • Goalkeepers are one of the most important parts to keep a clean sheet, more so if they stop penalties. Gorka Iraizoz did it well in the first matchday of the championship, the same way as Keylor Navas in the second matchday of the course.
  • The excellent role of newcomers is something remarkable in the league start. Bakambu, Jackson Martinez and Escalante have already scored for the "Amarillos" "Rojiblancos" and "Azulgranas", respectively.
  • Colombia is a country of great players and many of them play in LaLiga. Madrid, so far, is still the greatest spotlight of the "Cafetero" football, thanks to the great performances by James and Jackson.
  • FC Barcelona is the team that has made more passes so far (1,329), while Augusto Fernandez, RC Celta midfielder, is the player who leads the stats with 180.
