Sergi Roberto, talent and versatility

His technical quality has made him shine in the first half of season with FC Barcelona. He is young, has grown as a footballer in the Catalan academy and he is called to do great things in the Barça team. His career has reached a point where formation and maturity go together and between them have made him achieve a fantastic form. He's Sergi Roberto and has a promising future and many successes ahead.

His technical quality is his best virtue, although if he has developed a skill, is none other than the versatility. The ability of the player from Reus to play in different positions is one of the best arguments of the number '20' of Barca and that´s why Luis Enrique uses him so much. Sergi Roberto has played in seven different positions and has managed to adjust to each task entrusted by the Asturian coach in the 15 games he has played in the Liga BBVA and the ten games that has played between the UEFA Champions League and the Copa del Rey.

Right full back, left full back, defensive midfielder, inside right, inside left, left winger and right winger. After the latest injury of Jordi Alba in the match against Athletic Club, Luis Enrique counted again on his best wildcard to play in a part of the pitch hitherto unknown to the Reus footballer. The good performances on the right side of a player unaccustomed to occupy that part of the field have made him play six games.
