Rubén Castro’s recovery is going well. The Real Betis Balompié striker is going the extra mile to get over his back injury and return to the starting line up as soon as possible in order to help the team out in the Liga BBVA and the UEFA Europa League.
The Canary Islander is now doing double training sessions every day. Starting with the whole squad in the morning and then doing his own special program in the afternoon, building up his back muscles in the swimming pool.
According to the Seville club, Pepe Mel will be without Castro for the upcoming UEFA Europa League clash with HNK Rijeka, as well as this weekend’s league encounter against Getafe CF. However, the Betis coach will have Juan Carlos back for the Getafe match, with the player coming back from a knock to his knee.
