Rubén Castro's 2014/15 season in the Liga Adelante with Real Betis
• Rubén Castro once again cemented his status as the great goalscorer he has shown himself to be over the course of his career. The Real Betis front man was crowned the Liga Adelante's most prolific striker after finding the back of the net on 32 occasions, an average of 0.8 goals per game.
• Additionally, his exploits up front included more than just hitting the target, as Rubén Castro also showed his selfless side to form a formidable attacking partnership with Jorge Molina. The Canary Islander provided 11 assists over the season and racked up 3,717 minutes of playing time with the Andalusians. Castro started all of Betis' Liga Adelante encounters and was only subbed off in seven of the team’s 42 fixtures.
• Rubén Castro also accumulated the most efforts on goal (123 shots) of any Liga Adelante player, racked up the fifth highest number of minutes over the course of the season and completed the eighth highest number of passes (1,075) for Real Betis.
