LaLiga will once again take centre stage in the UEFA EURO 2016 final. The tournament draws to a close on Sunday with an enticing match between Portugal and France which will feature five players from the Spanish championship fighting to lift the trophy, and during which almost everyone will be keeping a close eye on Cristiano Ronaldo and Antoine Griezmann.

The pair are two of the big stars of LaLiga as well as the leaders of their respective national teams. Both of them, furthermore, have received two man-of-the-match awards apiece during the Euros and their contributions have been decisive in seeing Portugal and France through to the final.

In the case of Ronaldo, the Real Madrid player received his first man-of-the-match award in the final group-stage game against Hungary. Two of his signature goals, one of them a sumptuous back heel, served to draw the Portuguese side level and put them through to the last 16. His second accolade came in the semi-final clash against Wales, when he put Portugal in front with a powerful header and assisted Nani to give his side a 2-0 victory. The striker from Madeira has also accrued three assists.

Griezmann, meanwhile, is the top scorer in the Euros with a six-goal tally after scoring a memorable brace in the semi-final against Germany. The France number 7 converted a penalty on the stroke of half-time and scored his second after pouncing on a loose ball in the area, earning him his second man-of-the-match award of the tournament. Prior to that, the Atletico Madrid striker also took the award in the last 16 game against Ireland, in which he scored another two goals. As if that were not enough, he also netted in the quarter-finals against Iceland, and has accumulated two assists.

All of this means that the final of the Euros will feature two massive incentives to enjoy 90 minutes packed with excitement, goals and top-class football. Will Ronaldo or Griezmann snag the award again? Who will lift the trophy? All will be revealed starting on Sunday at 21:00 CET.
