RC Deportivo de La Coruña will have another opportunity to redeem themselves in front of their fans when they host UD Almería on matchday 6 of the Liga BBVA. Both the Galicians and the Andalusians, with just a point between them in the table, need to rediscover their form after losing their most recent league fixtures. The home side's manager, Víctor Fernández, underlined the importance of this fixture after falling to two consecutive defeats: "It's important after a painful defeat to get a win, because it's an opponent comparable to us, because it's an opponent fighting for the same objectives and most importantly because we're playing at home". Francisco Rodríguez, meanwhile, had words of praise for his opponent and said that the clash at the Riazor will be very difficult and demanding due to the opposition.
