Real Oviedo continue to expand on the international stage with the opening of their first soccer school in China, after reaching an agreement with the Shanghai Government.
A group of club representatives, headed by director of institutional relations Cesar Martin, are currently in the country in order to boost and strengthen Real Oviedo's brand position. They attended meetings with government officials from the departments of sport and education in order to present their educational project along with plans for the youth teams. An agreement for the opening of Real Oviedo's first school in China was subsequently reached.

The club's two youth-team coaches who will supervise the project had the opportunity to meet the young players with whom they will start working immediately. They also showed a video explaining the club's philosophy and the concepts on which their training sessions will be based.
The Real Oviedo party will also meet a group representing over 1,500 Chinese shareholders that are part of Real Oviedo's Chinese Supporters Association on Friday, to honour them with their share certificates and other tokens of good will.
