Quique Setien appointed FC Barcelona manager

FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with Quique Setien to take over as new head coach with immediate effect. The announcement was made on Monday evening following the news that Ernesto Valverde would not continue at the club.

Setien returns to LaLiga Santander following previous spells as manager of UD Las Palmas and Real Betis. He'll take charge of his first match for his new side on Saturday at home to Granada CF.
