Pau Lopez: "I'm thrilled with the opportunity that Del Bosque has given us"

Goalkeeper Pau Lopez spoke of his joy at the prospect of training with the Spain squad ahead of this summer's European Championship in France. The Catalan keeper said he was grateful for the opportunity that Vicente del Bosque had given him whilst also praising the Spain boss for calling up several other youngsters for the upcoming training camp.

Pau Lopez, who is currently on tour with his club in Bolivia, also expressed his gratitude for the treatment that his club has received in the South American country. The Blanquiazules received a very warm welcome upon their arrival in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and Constantin Galca's men have been continually showered with tokens of affection and support.

Pau also said that he was pleased at being able to take part in these types of tours, which not only help to grow the LaLiga brand all over the world, but also allow the Espanyol squad to wind down after a very tough end to the league campaign.
