Oviedo and Leganés climb into the play-off places

Cordoba CF 2-0 UE Llagostera

The Andalusian team comes off well from Nuevo Arcangel and will continue as the Liga Adelante leader. The game was very open at first, but as the minutes went by the home side took control of the ball. 30 minutes into the game Nando put a perfect cross into the bow for captain Xisco to head the ball to the back of the net and inaugurate the score. In the second half the away squad searched for a draw, although Victor Perez sentenced the game with the second goal for the leader.

CD Lugo 3-1 SD Ponferradina

The home side started losing. Ponferradina got ahead with Lolo Pavon’s goal, but their happiness didn’t last long, since slightly before halftime Lugo equalized through Pereira. It was the home striker who scored the 2-1 that certified the comeback and Pablo Caballero established the final result. Lugo sign their seventh consecutive undefeated game.

D. Alavés 1-1 AD Alcorcón

Alcorcon, with this draw, stops Alaves’s streak, which was on four consecutive victories. It was a game that focused the goals and excitement on the last 20 minutes. Campaña put the home team in front in the 72nd minute with a great strike and, seven minutes afterwards, Kiko equalized.

Girona FC 0-1 Elche CF

CD Tenerife 2-1 RCD Mallorca

Only one minute was needed by CD Tenerife to comeback after Mallorca got ahead with Moutinho’s goal in the second minute. The first half was dominated by the away squad, but the break brought a change of plans for Pep Marti’s men. In one minute Cristo and Omar scored, which meant the 3 points for the home side.

CD Leganes 1-0 Gimnastic

A goal by Alexander from a precise header gave the team from Madrid the three points and their third consecutive victory, which puts them in play-off positions and makes them dream with promotion, Asier Garitano’s men showed their defensive strength once again in order to win.

CD Leganés 2-1 RCD Mallorca

Even points at El Sadar in a clash where the team from Navarra wasted their chance of keeping the pressure on Cordoba for the lead. An outstanding goal by Unai Garcia put the Basques in front put the home squad were able to equalize with an amazing volley by Roberto Torres.

UD Almeria 1-2 SD Huesca

The Andalusians still can’t get away for the last position after a match in which Juan Antonia Anqueta’s men’s effectiveness was key for the team from Aragon to take the victory. Luis Garcia put the away team ahead with a great free kick and Machis extended the lead. Chuli reduced the difference but Almeria’s attempts to draw were useless.

Albacete 0-1 Real Valladolid

The away side broke Albacete’s three consecutive victory streak and they won at Carlos Belmone. A goal by Juan Villar was enough for Miguel Angel Portugal’s men to beat Albacete, who were unable to take their chances against the away strength.

CD Mirandes 1-2 R. Oviedo

Self-respect was the best ally for the team from Asturias, who came cak in a difficult clash at Anduva. Toche turned the tables and replied to Alex Ortiz’s goal with two of his own, which put Oviedo in the third place of the Liga Adelante. Mirandes falls to the 11th position.

R. Zaragoza 2-2 CD Numancia

Even points in a clash between two teams with brotherhood such as Zaragoza and Numancia. Even though the team from Soria were two goals down and half tima, they were able to equalize and put the final 2-2 on the score.
