CA Osasuna and Real Valladolid CF have the responsibility of opening matchday 33 of the Liga BBVA on Friday at 21:00.
The rojillos come in off the back of an essential 2-1 victory over UD Almería in the Estadio de Los Juegos Mediterráneos. The match brings together two direct rivals and the team from Pamplona will start it in 16th place in the table, two points above its opponent on Friday night. Javi Gracia, the home manager, will be without Sisi, as expected, but defender Lolo and midfielder Emiliano Armenteros will also miss the game. Gracia highlighted the importance of the match: "We know what is at stake and I am convinced that we are going to do a good job".
The blanquivioletas, whose objective is identical to that of Osasuna, visit El Sadar in search of an away win that has evaded them since the 25th of October when they won 3-0 in the Estadio de Vallecas. Juan Ignacio Martínez will have a full arsenal for the match. Valladolid's coach is well aware of the importance of the game: "The match is more important for us because we are more in need of points. It is more than just three points, it is more than a football match. I would not take a draw if it was offered to me, of course".
