New leader in Liga Adelante

It was a day of contrast for the teams in Liga Adelante. The sides at the top of the table were unable to win in a weekend of four draws, six away wins and only one home victory.
This round of fixtures, for the first time in 39 years, brought RC Deportivo La Coruña and CD Lugo face to face. In one of the more interesting of the 16th round of Liga Adelante fixtures, the two Galician sides maintain the excitement until the final whistle, but the matcn finished goalless.

This draw, and RC Recreativo de Huela's win over Numancia, means that the Andalusian side regain top spot in the league thanks to goal difference. Sergi Barjuan's side were up against it and we're forced to come from behind twice before taking the three points.

One of the side's at the top of the table to benefit was RCD Mallorca. Their win away to SD Eibar at the Estadio de Ipurua sees them climb the standings. It was one of five away wins along with FC Barcelona B, who defeated Córdoba, Real Zaragoza's victory in Las Palmas, Hércules CF's win at the Estadio Nueva Condomina and Real Madrid Castilla's win in Jaén.

At the bottom of the table, the stand-out result was CE Sabadell's win over CD Mirandes. The Catalan side, playing their first game following the departure of coach Javier Salamero, remain in the relegation places, but take heart from their performance. Also Castilla's win against Real Jaén CF

En la zona baja, destaca la victoria del CE Sabadell ante el CD Mirandés. El conjunto catalán, que jugaba su primer partido tras la destitución de Javier Salamero como técnico, sigue en la zona de descenso pero dejó muy buenas sensaciones tras su partido. También destaca el triunfo del Real Madrid Castilla ante el Real Jaén CF en el Nuevo Estadio de La Victoria, primera a domicilio de la temporada, gracias al gol de Borja García.
