Nery Castillo out for four to six weeks

Rayo Vallecano have confirmed their fears with regards to Nery Castillo’s injury. The forward had to be substituted in his side’s last outing versus Real Valladolid CF, and after undergoing tests it has been confirmed that he suffered a tear in his right thigh muscle.

The Madrid club have said that the Mexican will be out for between four to six week, meaning in a best case scenario he will miss the club’s next Liga BBVA fixtures versus CA Osasuna, Real Madrid CF and RC Celta de Vigo.
