RC Deportivo and Real Sociedad drew 0-0 in La Liga Matchday 12. A single point apiece meant the two sides remained as they had started the day, in 15th and 14th positions.
It was David Moyes' first match in charge of Real Sociedad, and in the first half he saw his new charges fail to convert dominance into goals. Sergio Canales and Imanol Agirretxe had good chances, but couldn't find the back of the net. They kept coming though, and, on the half hour mark, Carlos vela forced the Depor keeper Fabricio Ramírez to pull off an impressive save. Depor soon carved out a chance of their own, Luisinho calling Sociedad's keeper Eñaut Zubikarai into action to keep the score at 0-0.
The intensity went up a few notches in the second half, with both sides fashioning several decent attacks, though few of these led to shots on goal. The draw was a fair reflection of the ninety minutes of action.
