Miguel Cardoso appointed as new RC Celta head coach

Miguel Cardoso will take over first team duties at RC Celta, the club have announced. The Portuguese coach will be presented at Balaidos on Tuesday at 13:00 CET.

Formerly of Rio Ave and Nantes, the 46 year-old takes charge the team currently in 14th place in the LaLiga Santander standings. He replaces Antonio Mohamed, who the Vigo-based outfit parted company with on Monday evening. RC Celta thanked Mohamed for his services in a statement on their official website.
