It only took RCD Mallorca one year to get back into LaLiga 1|2|3, with the club rounding off a magnificent campaign in Segunda Division B with victory over CD Mirandes in the second champions' playoff to reach LaLiga.
After a 3-1 first-leg win in Majorca thanks to goals by Lago Junior, Antonio Raillo and Ariday Cabrera, Mallorca simply needed to make their advantage count in Anduva to clinch promotion. Although the home side did put the visitors under real pressure, the 0-0 stalemate was enough for Javier Olaizola's charges to return to LaLiga 1|2|3 at the first time of asking.
Ahead of the tie, Mallorca had finished top of what was a highly competitive Segunda B Group 3, ending the league season with an impressive eight-point lead over their nearest rivals.
Mallorca will compete in LaLiga 1|2|3 for the 32nd time come August, where they will be joined by CF Rayo Majadahonda, who also secured promotion on the same day, after getting the better of FC Cartagena.
