Málaga CF have a difficult task on matchday five of the Liga BBVA: beating championship leaders, FC Barcelona. Luis Enrique's team have won all of their games and are the only team in the Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante who are yet to concede a goal.

Team news

Javi Gracia has called up the same players for this match as he did in the Málaga’s last one against RCD Espanyol. For the Azulgranas, Neymar and Ivan Rakitić are back in the fold, while the injured Rafinha, Jordi Masip and Thomas Vermaelen will not travel to the Rosaleda. Nor will Dani Alves and Jérémy Mathieu, who were left out for technical reasons.

Views from the dugout

"It is a very well balanced team, who give you very little time. Their opponents’ possession does not last long. I think it is a very well organised team, with a lot going for them up front and they barely give you breathing space" stated Javi Gracia.

The Barcelona coach, for his part, is cautious about his team’s current good form: "In March we’ll see who’s in position to do it. Last year was a very exciting competition with three contenders. This season Sevilla and Valencia look really good and Madrid and Atlético will be up there".
