The last match of the tenth matchday of Liga BBVA ended with Málaga CF's victory over RC Deportivo by 2-0. This result allows the Andalusian team to climb up the table and means a fallout for the Galicians. These are the five keys of the match:
From the least to the most
The Galician team grew little by little, not rushing it but marking its own ground in an always complicated stadium. As the minutes went by and with Lucas Pérez joining the attack, Deportivo started flowing in the match and threatened Carlos Kameni’s goal with two dangerous strikes and another hit crashing in the crossbar.
Málaga moves back
Málaga started strong and progressively diluted its attack as the minutes went by. Javi Gracia was forced to move his team backwards as his rival pushed forward and the Andalusian team finished the first half with nil on the score and its defence working hard.

Tighadouini was key
Málaga’s striker unblocked the match and ended up turning into the key of the evening: he managed to threaten Deportivo’s area in every way. First he tried it with a header that brushed by the left post of German Lux's goal. He didn’t let go the second attempt and, in a rehearsed move, he finally scored and made La Rosaleda roar.
Young talent
Javi Gracia moved his bench as a clear sign of Málaga’s new policy, begun last year that prioritizes young players. Duda was replaced by Fábio Espinho in the 65th minute and in the 78th Pablo Formals, the talented home grown player, replaced Recio.
Juankar's sentence
His craftiness and skill allowed Juankar to score in the 85th minute with an excellent left foot definition aimed for the far post. He had sentenced the match this way against a Deportivo whose lucky strike seems to be over.
