Another #LigaBBVAExperience and yet another resounding success story. This initiative - headed up by LaLiga and run in partnership with its international broadcasters -, which sees supporters from all over the globe given the chance to visit Spain and attend a Liga BBVA game, once again proved to be a real hit.
In this instalment, the three followers from Sweden (sent by VIASAT), the trio from Hong Kong (sent by Now TV) and the quartet hailing from Tanzania (sent by Azam TV) enjoyed an action-packed three-day stay in A Coruña. This particular event saw fans from Europe, Asia and Africa come together to share in their common love for LaLiga.
During their stay, the party attended the RC Deportivo v FC Barcelona clash, which served up a spectacle they'll never forget. But that wasn’t all, the visitors were also able to go pitchside to see the players warm up and wait for them outside the dressing rooms at the final whistle to ask for autographs and photos. Neymar, Lucas Perez, Luis Suarez, Juanfran and Dani Alves were amongst those who took the time to greet the #LigaBBVAExperience fans.
Apart from taking in the game, the visitors also had time to check in at the city's main tourist attractions, including theMaria Pita Square, the Tower of Hercules and the Finisterre Aquarium. After all of this sightseeing the guests had worked up quite an appetite, which they would satisfy by tucking into some of the region's dishes, including local beef fillet, pulpo gallego (Galician octopus) and tarta de Santiago (almond cake). The sumptuous taste of all of these culinary delights left the foreign visitors drooling!
In short, these ten fans, who descended on Spain from the four corners of the world, enjoyed an unbeatable experience. The supporters certainly landed with bighopes and in this case there's no doubt that the reality certainly outshone their expectations.
