LFP, present in the EPFL Board and the UEFA Professional football strategy council

The president of the Liga de Fútbol Profesional, Javier Tebas, will attend the Board Meeting of the European Association of Professional Football Leagues (EPFL) on 9 September. The meeting will be held in Geneva from 10 am.

The Board will evaluate the outcome of the FIFA meeting on the 2022 Qatar World Cup. It will address legal and regulatory issues and analyse membership applications from the Rumanian and Israeli leagues. Javier Tebas was appointed as an EPFL board member last May.

 

UEFA Strategy Council

The LFP president’s schedule also includes a meeting of the UEFA Professional Football Strategy Council, taking place from 3 pm at the House of European Football in Nyon.

The agenda will include points related to the integrity and transfer of players, as well as financial matters regarding the official UEFA club competition for the 2015/18 period.

The Professional Football Strategy Council (PFSC) brings together the main stakeholders in European football (UEFA member federations, clubs, leagues and players) to find common solutions on the major issues of the day.
