LFP, exemplary in the fight against match-fixing in football

The fight against sports fraud and match fixing in the Liga de Fútbol Profesional has became an example to follow by many countries and associations around the world. Manuel Quintanar, director of the LFP Integrity Department, will give a speech in the Latvian Parliament explaining the key factors in the action plan and solutions put in place by the Liga de Fútbol Profesional to eradicate these activities.

The LFP will take part in the meeting as an example of how to take action and will provide training so that the Latvian government can fight against match fixing in football. The growing concern surrounding potential match fixing in Latvian professional sport has led the country's leaders to seek the advice of LFP, who will offer a collaborative agreement in the field of integrity.
