Team News:

Levante UD: Juanfran, Victor Casadesus, Jose Mari, Ruben Garcia and Pedro Lopez (all injured).

FC Barcelona: Rafinha (injured).

Match Facts Levante UD (20th, 17 pts):

- The Granotas are bidding to pull off a major upset and kickstart a run to pull themselves away from the foot of the table, where they have been rooted for several matchdays. Their inconsistent form is exemplified by the two wins and defeats apiece they have managed in their most recent Liga BBVA encounters.

Giuseppe Rossi and the other new signings brought in by Levante in the January transfer window offer renewed hope for the home fans, who will expect their team to redouble their efforts against such distinguished opposition.

- Levante rise to the occasion when the league leaders come to town, and they have taken at least a point on eight of the last 11 occasions when a team in first place has visited the Ciutat de Valencia stadium.

FC Barcelona (1st, 51 pts):

- On a high. This is the best way to describe the state of the Azulgranas as they head south to play Levante. They will be looking to march on and avoid any hiccups in the hope that their closest rivals falter, allowing them to extend their lead at the summit of the Liga BBVA.

- After their 7-0 Copa del Rey rout of Valencia CF and their 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid last matchday, Luis Enrique's side are keen to keep the good times rolling against Levante, in the process taking another step towards one of their top targets for the season: retaining their title.

What's on in Valencia this weekend?
