After being successfully held in several countries, LALIGA Youth Tournament (LLYT) was also successfully held at Yogyakarta Independent School on 3-4 August 2024. The tournament was attended by 48 teams from several regions in Indonesia. This event is an important step for the young generation of Indonesian football to show their abilities at a competitive level.
"LALIGA is highly recognized globally for its support of grassroots football and the clubs' academies consistently rank among the best in the world. We have a strong commitment to supporting the development of football worldwide and are excited to finally have the LALIGA Youth Tournament in Indonesia so young players here can enjoy the experience and competition", said LALIGA representative in Indonesia, Almudena Gómez on Sunday, August 4 2024.
Andhika Suksmana, CEO of The Footballicious, who was the promoter of this event, also conveyed the same thing.
"I hope that with the LALIGA Youth Tournament in Indonesia, young players can show the extraordinary talent and enthusiasm of all participants. This tournament is not only about competition, but also about building a spirit of sportsmanship and inspiring the younger generation to continue to develop in sports," he said at Yogyakarta Independent School.
LLYT is getting more exciting with the participation of academies from Indonesian League clubs. PSS Sleman sent three categories at U-12, U-14 and U-16, followed by the Persib, Persebaya and Persela academies. The academy belonging to former Indonesian national team player, Ferdinand Sinaga, namely FS17 FA, also participated in the U-14 category.
The presence of Nova Arianto, coach of the U-16 national team, as one of the guests of honor, provided deeper inspiration for young players to continue trying to achieve the highest achievements in the world of football. The presence of these experienced coaches also enriches the participants' experience in sharpening their skills.
A total of 16 winners have been announced, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each age category, as well as the Best Coach, Most Valuable Player per age category, and Most Valuable Player Tournament awards. It is hoped that this tournament will bring talented players for Indonesian football.

- Runner Up : PSS Sleman
- 3rd Place : RMF UNY
- Best Player : Atha Arifta Putra (SSB Baturetno)
2. U-14 Category :
- Champions :Asti Academy
- Runner Up : Balasuga
- 3rd Place : PSS Sleman
- Best Player : Fathir Nahel
3. U-16 Category :
Champions : Bintang Putra Sidoarjo (Hijau)
Runner Up: Akademi Persik Tasik
3rd Place: PSS Sleman
Best Player: Mirza Nur (Bintang Putra Sidoarjo)
4. Best coach:
U-12 : Muhammad Arifin (SSB Baturetno)
U-14 : Yudistira Sultan (Balasuga)
U-16 : Rifki Zahiyudin (Bintang Putra Sidoarjo)
5. Most Valuable Player Tournament: Farrel Lukyta (PSS Sleman)
