LaLiga, with the collaboration of the NWSL, announces the first viral football challenge driven by women

LaLiga is taking one step further to demonstrate the growing promise of women's football.  A leap forward that will break the glass ceiling, open more stadiums, televise more matches, attract more international talent, create more news coverage, a greater social media presence, the creation of an Assocation of Clubs, etc.

 

The NWSL, the top league for women's football, has joined in partnership with this challenge. With the tagline, #AcceptTheChallenge, female players around the world hve joined together to accomplish this goal, which aspires to be the first of its kind to go viral and organised by women. 

 

Six female football players are the principle stars of this viral project: Charlyn Corral, Lieke Martens, Toni Duggan, Yael Averbuch, Carli Lloyd and Sydney Leroux, however it has already spread to other countries. Players such as Nicole Regnier, Vero Boquete, Cote Rojas, Francisca Lara, Brenda Perez, Claudia Zornoza and Dominika Conc have already joined in.
