The English Twitter account joins LaLiga's existing family of social media profiles where they already have more than 9.5 million followers spread across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
Since the launch of the Twitter account @LFPnews in 2011, LaLiga has been consolidating and evolving its digital presence on social media networks to the point where it now has a wide range of applications available for mobile devices.
The new official Twitter profile for LaLiga has been set up to provide a unique offering for millions of fans who follow the competition on a daily basis, and who are keen to read the latest news, reports and interviews in English.
Followers of @LaLigaEN will receive in-depth coverage of each round of matches in Liga BBVA and Liga Adelante, and first-hand news on the various international projects LaLiga is involved in around the world, such as the LFP World Challenge and the LaLiga Promises.
