LaLiga has taken another step forward in its internationalisation strategy by launching an official Twitter account in Arabic, which will serve a potential audience of over 420 million people. @LaLigaArab joins LaLiga's thriving stable of social media channels: the organisation currently boasts a combined community of more than 30 million followers across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify, Weibo and WeChat.
Followers of @LaLigaArab will benefit from exhaustive, tailored coverage of every LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 matchday, as well as getting first-hand information on the institution's numerous international projects, from the LaLiga Santander Experience to the LaLiga Global Network, LaLiga Promises and the LFP World Challenge.
Since rolling out the Twitter handle @LFPnews in 2011, LaLiga has steadily consolidated and expanded its digital footprint through social media and a wide range of official applications for mobile devices.
LaLiga's latest official profile seeks to offer unique, differentiated content to the millions of fans across the Arab world who follow Spanish football day in, day out, from breaking news to in-depth reports, exclusive interviews and more.
