LaLiga is collaborating in the second edition of the National Training School for Football Coaches in China. This project, organized by the Office for School Football, began in December and aims to train more than 8,000 coaches at colleges and football schools across the country.
LaLiga's role in this project is the training of over 2,000 coaches in schools from the six major cities of China: Lanzhou, Xian, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou y Luoyang.
The coach in charge is Rafael Gil, a Spaniard who gained his formative experience in Liga BBVA clubs such as Real Madrid CF, Club Atlético de Madrid and Villarreal CF, and at European clubs such as Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund.
In the lectures given by LaLiga, the Chinese coaches have been advised on how to address the tactical training of teams throughout their different formative stages, have enjoyed several practice sessions on tactical aspects, strategies and styles of play, and insights on practical methodology.
The Spanish professional football experts continue to share their knowledge with coaches and players from numerous leagues and federations around the world as part of a series of international projects from LaLiga. This agreement shows Spanish football's commitment to the development of the sport in China, and is a new step forward in their expansion strategy to develop LaLiga's presence around the world.
