Matchday 30 in the Liga BBVA served up some great football, many stunning goals and countless memorable moments and thanks to the official LaLiga statistics, we now know identity of the top performing Liga BBVA players from last weekend, who come together to form the LaLiga Fantasy Starting XI.
Amongst those to make the starting XI, Karim Benzema was the Player of the Matchday, on the back of his excellent display against Sevilla FC. The Frenchman, who was making his return following injury, struck a real peach of a goal to make it 18 for the season in a fine overall performance.
Benzema's Real Madrid teammate, Keylor Navas, takes his place between the sticks, where, in addition to denying Sevilla from the spot, he also kept a clean sheet to register 14 points. Amongst the men making up a four-man defensive unit featuring Danilo, Emiliano Velazquez, Marcelo and Hugo Mallo, it is the RC Celta right-back who really stood out this weekend. The Galician opened his Liga BBVA scoring account on the way to bagging 15 points. Fabian Orellana and Toni Kroos line up alongside Ignacio Camacho in the middle of the park, whilst Gareth Bale's 16 points and the 14 notched up by Neymar are enough to see them take their places alongside the Player of the Matchday.
