LaLiga Santander is up and running for the new season, and after Matchday 2 it's time to take a look at the LaLiga Fantasy MARCA Best XI from the latest round of matches. RCD Espanyol take centre stage, with three of their players included.
However, the highest scoring player this week is Pione Sisto of RC Celta, who managed 19 points thanks to his goal and assist in his side's 2-1 win at Levante UD on Monday night.
Sevilla FC goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik is between the posts, his clean sheet against Villarreal CF earning him 13 points. In front of him is Bruno from Getafe CF (18 points), Villarreal CF's Victor Ruiz (12) and Zou Feddal of Real Betis (12). Also in defence is another RCD Espanyol player - Mario Hermoso (13) - who keeps his place in the team from Matchday 1.
The midfielders from this week's XI scored four goals over the weekend: Nabil El Zhar with two of those in CD Leganes' draw against Real Sociedad. Esteban Granero also scored in RCD Espanyol's 2-0 win over Valencia, and UD Levante captain Jose Luis Morales, another player who keeps his place in the side after scoring a penalty against RC Celta.
Meanwhile, in attack are Gareth Bale (15 points), who stood out in Real Madrid's victory at Girona FC; Borja Iglesias, who scored his first ever LaLiga Santander goal against Valencia CF, and the MVP of this Matchday: Pione Sisto.
