It's official: LALIGA will once again run its LALIGA Camps summer camps in July 2024 following the success of its first edition. These are unique among the major European leagues and hosted more than 334 children aged between 8 and 17 over three weeks during the summer. The 2024 edition will again take place at the ESC LALIGA & NBA Madrid complex, the nerve centre for LALIGA's grassroots football projects in Spain, where players from all over the world participate in the different short and long term LALIGA Academy projects throughout the year.

LALIGA Camps has consolidated its numbers in just two years in various countries such as the United Kingdom, Japan, South Africa, Peru, Argentina and the USA. Around 20.000 players of different levels and ages have already passed through the camps.

Each camp is based on the LALIGA Methodology, which aims to help players on their journey to acquire new technical skills and improve aspects of their game while also having an enjoyable experience. Additionally, all the LALIGA coaches are trained and coordinated from the organisation's headquarters.

The Madrid camps, with day and overnight options, last from 1 to 5 weeks and are designed to provide players of all levels, aged between 8 and 17 years old, with some of the resources and common elements that make the youth academies of the LALIGA EA SPORTS and LALIGA HYPERMOTION clubs a worldwide benchmark year after year.

“The consolidation of the LALIGA Camps programs in terms of number of players and countries in just two years is spectacular and shows the interest that exists for such quality projects. In the case of Camps, we are also committed to comprehensive training: we include activities and workshops in Spanish and English, so that the participants can learn languages while doing activities related to football and LALIGA. We also have a multicultural environment, with players from all over the world. This year, players from more than 40 different countries passed through our long-term international academy program, thus enriching the experience of the LALIGA Academy projects,” stated Javier Hernández, Head of LALIGA Academy.

“In addition to the sporting and academic aspects, we believe that the all-round training of players should place special emphasis on the psycho-emotional aspect and the values shared by all the boys and girls taking part. In fact, this is one of the four pillars of the LALIGA Methodology, together with the technical-coordinative, tactical-cognitive and physical-conditional elements. As part of our projects, we have always considered football to be the ideal means of imparting values to young people as part of an educational environment,” said Juan Florit, Head of LALIGAs Sporting Projects.

The ESC LaLiga & NBA Madrid centre has accommodation capacity for more than 450 people and 24-hour security, an international school equipped with an auditorium, library and laboratory, a clinic and several rooms for games, relaxation and study. It also houses two state-of-the-art football pitches and various training facilities, a basketball court, gymnasium and swimming pool.

Registration for the programs, as well as additional information, is now available on the website: Camps Madrid: campus program for football technification | LaLiga Grassroots.
