Real Madrid CF have bagged themselves a great keeper. On Sunday, the Whites announced the signing of Keylor Navas for the next six seasons.
Navas was one of the surprise packages at the FIFA 2014 World Cup with Costa Rica, who reached the quarter-finals for the first time in history. The new keeper of the team managed by Carlo Ancelotti made a name for himself last season with Levante UD as one of the star shot-stoppers in Spanish football.
Keylor Navas came to Spain in the 2010/11 season, when he joined Liga Adelante team Albacete Balompié. That year he played 36 matches with the team from La Mancha, but he was unable to save them from relegation. The following year he went to the team on the Turia to play for the Granotas, where last year he became one a sensation in the Ciutat de València Stadium and the Liga BBVA.
