Juan Ramon Lopez Muñiz named LaLiga 1l2l3 Manager of the Month for August

Juan Ramon Lopez Muñiz has been named the LaLiga 1|2|3 Manager of the Month for August, thanks to his superb start in the competition with Levante UD. The Valencian outfit could not have kicked off the season in a better fashion, winning both of their matches in the month of August. They were the only team out of all 22 who managed the feat.

This accolade is awarded by Santander, the competition's main sponsor, and voted for by the LaLiga.es writers. Two wins in two games in August – 1-0 away to CD Numancia followed by a 2-0 victory over AD Alcorcon – demonstrated just how solid Levante are and the great quality of their football. Los Granotas have struck the first decisive blow of the season, establishing themselves as one of the sides to be reckoned with.
