Joseba Etxeberria is no longer the coach of SD Eibar

Joseba Etxeberria will no longer be SD Eibar's head coach. Following a 2-0 defeat against CD Castellón last Saturday, the board of the Basque club announced the coach's dismissal. Etxeberria joined Eibar in June 2023 and managed the team in 75 official matches.

SD Eibar has gone five games without a win in LALIGA HYPERMOTION, leaving the team in 17th place, five points above the relegation zone. The Basque club has not yet announced Etxeberria's replacement as head coach.

Eibar will play their next match on February 22 at 4:15 PM against Real Racing Club at Ipurua.
