Match Facts

RC Deportivo (7th, 12 pts):

- The last match disputed by Victor Sánchez del Amo´s side as a home team resulted in a resounding 3-0 victory against Espanyol. This Sunday against Athletic, the team from A Coruña hopes to regain those sensations and get what would be its fourth victory of this season.

- Up to three players from Deportivo were called last week for their national teams: Haris Medunjanin (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Celso Borges (Costa Rica) and Jonathan Rodriguez (Uruguay).

- Goal touch: Deportivo achieved its best start in 12 years by scoring 12 goals in seven games. This figure is largely due to the momentum of Lucas Perez, who has already four goals.

Athletic Club (13th, 7 pts):

- Ernesto Valverde´s team reached the international break after having defeated Valencia (3-1), comeback included, leaving a good image at San Mamés.

- Improve the results away from home will be the "Leones" target. In three visits (Eibar, Villarreal and Real Sociedad) Athletic reaped just one point in the Basque derby.

- Xabier Etxeita and San Jose, both qualified with Spain to the Euro 2016, were the only Athletic players called by their country during the international break.

What´s on in A Coruña this weekend
Do not leave A Coruña without ... Visiting the Aquarium “Finisterrae - Casa de los Peces”, where you can enjoy Galician coast and know the varieties of octopus living in it. In addition, the Aquarium has dedicated a space to the knowledge of seals and their habitat and also has a room submerged in the sea where you can see marine life like you never have done it before.
