Four goals were the icing on the cake for the #LigaBBVAExperience

With the acclaimed Valencian journalist, Paco Lloret, who has dedicated his life to the city's teams, acting as master of ceremonies, and after visiting the Atlético Madrid hotel to spend a few minutes with Saul Niguez and Jose Gimenez, the lucky fans joined the rest of the Ché faithful to watch the match at Mestalla. Fully kitted out in personalised Valencia shirts and scarves, they even had a chance to sample the paella prepared by the Valencia supporters association and get into the spirit of things by warming up their voices ahead the big game.

And the best was yet to come in what was, for many, their first visit to a Liga BBVA stadium. From a privileged position, the fans witnessed all the excitement as the local team made their way into the stadium, with Pablo Piatti, Antonio Barragan, Javi Fuego and Shkodran Mustafi all heading over to sign autographs for them. Legendary Valencia player, Juan Sol, was also on hand to present each of the fans with a commemorative plaque.

With the team in the dressing room preparing for the match, the group of special guests made their way out onto the Mestalla pitch for an exclusive opportunity to see both teams warm up before kick-off. Once in their seats, the grandstands rocked as they saw goals put away by Antoine Griezmann, Denis Cheryshev, Fernando Torres and Yannick Carrasco providing the perfect end to a weekend that will remain forever in the hearts of a group of fans who have pledged to return.
