FC Barcelona take the unofficial title of Winter Champions!

Lieke Martens, Toni Duggan, Alexia Putellas, Vicky Losada..., the list is endless. FC Barcelona have the strongest squad in their history and have silverware in their sights.

After beating Levante 5-0, Fran Sánchez's side have been crowned with the unofficial title of 'Winter Champions'. In his first season at the helm Sanchez has guided Barça to the top of the Liga Iberdrola with 40 points. Atletico Madrid are hot on their heels, however, only kept off the top by their inferior goal difference.

They have scored an initimidating 52 goals in 15 games, and only conceded five, suffering one defeat along the way against Granadilla Egatesa. The omens are good for Barça. Over the last four seasons, the 'Winter Champion' has gone on to win the Liga Iberdrola.
