Match Facts
RCD Espanyol (9th, 9 pts):
-Last weekend failed to score points against RC Deportivo and its aim for this new Liga BBVA matchday is to recover the good sensations that the team had in the victory against Valencia at home.
-Marcos Asensio is becoming, over the weeks, a key player for Espanyol´s squad. Has gained a place in the starting eleven and the player from Mallorca continues to grow in every game.
-Espanyol can regain Anaitz Arbilla, who couldn't play the last match against Deportivo: "I hope I'm fit and well for Saturday, now I have to grit my teeth".
R. Sporting (15th, 5 points):
-Sporting started Liga BBVA in an erratic manner, with three defeats, two draws and just a victory. Abelardo´s team wants to repeat an away win like it did against Deportivo and take a leap in the standings.
-Espanyol should be aware of Halilović, one of the keys to the “Asturiano” team, as he brings quality and freshness to the team on the pitch.
-The commitment of the Sporting squad is absolute, as Alex Menendez has said: "The commitment is amazing, it shows in all training sessions".
