El Clasico at the Camp Nou on Saturday 2 April will be a display of the highest quality both on the pitch and on the screens in millions of homes in 184 countries worldwide. Over 300 professionals, 7 mobile units, 6 DSNG vans and 35 cameras will be set up in the stadium to provide the very best coverage of the match.

MEDIAPRO's coverage of El Clasico will reach every country on the planet out of which over 90 have requested a custom stream so that fans can enjoy the fixture with pre and post-match analysis, commentators, interviews and special footage. All major global television operators will broadcast the event to their subscribers: ESPN, SKY, beIN, WOWOW, Sport 1, C+, FOX, PPTV, Viasat and Digi Sport, among others. As well as world football's elite, high-profile commentators and analysts will be in attendance at the Camp Nou such as Eric Abidal for beIN SPORTS France, Ruud Gullit for beIN SPORTS USA, Fabio Capello for FOX Italia and Patrick M'Boma for Canal+ Africa, to name but a few.

LaLiga and MEDIAPRO will therefore look to expand upon the success generated by the reverse fixture back in November, when 4K technology was employed. The best league in the world provides the finest and most advanced audiovisual technology, with both national and international coverage relying on a range of state-of-the-art generation resources: 7 mobile units (one of which is equipped with eight 4K cameras and an Ultra Slow one), 6 DSNG vans for broadcasting via satellite and around 30 cameras located around the whole Camp Nou. Vodafone TV will also offer 4K coverage of El Clasico as a trial on its latest-generation network.

It will also be the first time in history that a sporting event of this nature will be shown live using VR (Virtual Reality) technology in an exclusive trial in Movistar+'s flagship stores in Madrid and Barcelona. It is as simple as putting on your Samsung Gear VR glasses and enjoying 90 unforgettable minutes thanks to this trial broadcast by Movistar+ and Samsung.

El Clasico will also be a big player on social networks, with the hashtag #ElClasico aiming to surpass the figure of 831 million mentions racked up on Twitter in November.
