- Getafe CF: Full squad available.
Match Facts:
Huesca (6th in the LaLiga 1|2|3 regular season):
- A run of seven points from nine over the final three matchdays proved enough for Jose Antonio Anquela's side to seal a top-six finish and keep alive their dreams of gaining promotion to LaLiga Santander for the first time in the club's history. It was not until the very last matchday that they booked their spot in the playoffs and they did so the hard way, winning at the Ciutat de Valencia to inflict LaLiga 1|2|3 champions Levante's only home defeat of the campaign.
- It was all square in the two meetings between Huesca and Getafe in the LaLiga 1|2|3 normal season, which are the clubs' only previous encounters at second-division level. The Matchday 11 clash at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez ended 1-1, while the Matchday 32 fixture at El Alcoraz was scoreless. A repeat of these two scorelines would see Huesca advance to the playoff final on away goals.
Getafe (3rd in the LaLiga 1|2|3 regular season):
- The Madrilenians came agonisingly close to claiming automatic promotion, finishing just two points shy of second place. They earned five points more than Huesca over the course of the campaign.
- Getafe are winless in their last three LaLiga 1|2|3 games on the road (D2 L1) and have the worst away record out of the four sides contesting the playoffs.
