The local coach was keen to praise his opposition in the press conference, saying that it is a privilege to be able to see these teams in the Ipurua, while he was also optimistic about the match: "They are better teams than us but we are approaching it with fearlessness and optimism". For his part, Marcelino García Toral, the visiting manager, revealed some changes in his starting line-up and stated: "We come into this match with a need to give our all because we are a team that, if we are not at that standard, our chances of victory disappear".
