Early goal
SD Eibar opened the scoring just after seven minutes of play. David Juncà sent a cross that paced the box and finally ended in Saul Berjón who beat Javi Varas and set the 0-1 at the Stadium of Gran Canaria.
Las Palmas failed to get the draw
The Canary side had chances to go into the break with the clash matched, but ended up accusing lack of accuracy. A shot by Jonathan Viera that went slightly off and a header by Roque Mesa in front of Asier Riesgo were the clearest chances of the "Amarillos" in the first 45 minutes.
Borja Bastón remains inspired
The striker from Madrid was again one of the key pieces of Eibar. Scored the 0-2 in the 62nd minute after controlling the ball inside the box and sent the ball to the back of the net with a nice shot on the turn. So far, he has records that make them dream: four goals in seven games played.
David Juncà´s impact
The fullback of the "Armero" team was decisive and had a huge impact on the "Eibarreses" game. Not only gave the assist to Saul Berjón in the first goal, but also took part in the second goal with a shot that bounced off a defender before falling into Borja Bastón boots.
Wakaso prevented the third from Eibar
In the last gasp of the match, Keko Gontán stood alone in front of the keeper ready to score the third goal of the game, but Wakasa jumped at ground to snatch the ball and to prevent something worse.
