Real Madrid CF will hose UD Almería on Saturday in one of the games corresponding to the 33rd round of Liga BBVA.
Before fighting for the Copa del Rey on Wednesday in an exciting final against FC Barcelona, The Whites will look to keep their hopes of winning the league title alive. “We are very excited because it’s been a while since Madrid didn’t fight for three titles. Hopefully everyone feels the same way as the side”, said Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian will be without Cristiano Ronaldo, Jesé Rodríguez, Marcelo Vieira, Álvaro Arbeloa and Sami Khedira through injury, and Xabi Alonso and Dani Carvajal through suspension.
They face an Almería side that visit the Spanish capital with the need to surprise and win three big points that would allow them to take a huge step forward in their fight for survival. Despite the fact the Andalusian side haven’t won away from home since December, the central midfielder Miguel Ángel Corona has said they are “dreaming about doing something big”. For this battle the manager will be without defenders Sebastián Dubarbier, Rafita and Ángel Trujillo.
