Diego López, LALIGA EA SPORTS Best Under-23 Player in March

Diego López has been chosen as LALIGA EA SPORTS Best Under-23 Player in March, an award presented by LALIGA together with Riyadh Season. The 22-year-old striker has become an indispensable player for his team, having already scored six goals and provided four assists in the current LALIGA EA SPORTS season.

The Ché player has had his best month in terms of his scoring figures, having scored in all the domestic league matches played in March and earning Valencia CF important points in their fight for survival. His goals against Osasuna (3-3) and Girona (1-1) were key to picking up two points away from home, while his goal against Real Valladolid was crucial in the 2-1 win over Real Valladolid at Mestalla.

Those three goals scored in March were enough to beat Giuliano Simeone (Atlético de Madrid), Pedri (FC Barcelona), Jesús Rodríguez (Real Betis) and Nico Williams (Athletic Club) in the final vote for Best U-23 Player of the Month, thus winning his first individual award of the season.
