Claudio Bravo (Buin, Santiago, Chile, April 13, 1983) became the best goalkeeper in the 2014/15 Liga BBVA season. FC Barcelona was the team that conceded fewer goals (21) and the great architect of these results was defending the team's goal. The South American keeper conceded only 19 goals being one of the pillars of a Catalan side that ended conquering LaLiga.
Great reflexes, security and good play with his feet are the best arguments for a complete goalkeeper who last year left his signature in the history of the competition. Barcelona´s number '13' managed to raise the unbeaten record in a league start until 754 minutes. Eight complete matchdays and 35 minutes without conceding a goal to make him one of the best goalkeepers in the category.
But it was not the only broken record. Claudio Bravo finished the course in the best possible way. He reached 23 games without conceding a goal, a record that Andoni Zubizarreta and Victor Valdes had until then, both with 21 games without conceding in a campaign.
An award that certainly has much to do with the excellent defensive work by the Catalans during the 2014/15 season and where Bravo put the finishing touch on which it was his first year as Barca.
