Chuli chosen as Liga Adelante player of the month for February

The goalscoring instinct shown by CD Leganés forward Chuli in February has seen the Andalusian player scoop the BBVA Award for 'Liga Adelante Player of the Month', an accolade chosen by the official website of the LFP and given out by BBVA, the league’s main sponsor.

His team’s second top scorer, the 24-year-old managed to find the net four times in Leganés’s three most recent victories, ensuring that he was the star of the show as Asier Garitano’s side earned nine points to move up to eighth place on 38, just four points off the play-off places for promotion to the Liga BBVA.
