Carlo Ancelotti named LALIGA EA SPORTS Manager of the Month for April

Carlo Ancelotti has been named the LALIGA EA SPORTS Manager of the Month for April, an accolade awarded by LALIGA in partnership with Microsoft. The Real Madrid manager has signed off on a sensational month, taking nine points out of nine and keeping his team free and clear at the top of the table.

Los Blancos came out on top against Mallorca (0-1), FC Barcelona (3-2) and Real Sociedad (0-1). Of particular note was the victory in ELCLASICO, with a comeback to boot, where they took a massive step towards securing the league title. Real Madrid closed out the month of April at the Reale Arena, where a solitary Arda Güler goal left the capital club just four points from mathematically crowning themselves champions of LALIGA EA SPORTS.

This is Carlo Ancelotti’s second individual award of the season after winning it back in August. This time around, the Italian came top in the voting, fending off competition from Manuel Pellegrini (Real Betis) and Quique Sanchez Flores (Sevilla FC).
