Real Madrid went into the field really focused in the game. It was the second match of Zinedine Zidane as coach of Real Madrid and got his straight second victory. Sporting tried to stop Real Madrid, who performed great football and controlled the match from the start, but the Whites were excellent in the first half thanks to their great success in front of goal.

Sporting reaction

The second part changed at times. Real Madrid decreased the possession and the control of the game and Sporting grew with the passage of minutes. So much so that the Asturians scored their first goal. Isma López scored the 5-1 in the 62nd minute after a great run by Jony who assisted Isma to score.

Setbacks

Bale, one of the stars of the game, had to leave the pitch with some problems in his twin. Zidane decided not to take any risk and opted to replace the Welsh player by Jesé. Benzema, who pain in his ankle, was substituted in the 65th minute by Kovacic.
