Following another exciting matchday in Liga BBVA, the UEFA Champions League returns with the dispute of the third round of the group stage matches. FC Barcelona and Valencia CF will be the two teams from LaLiga that will come into play on Tuesday.
BATE Borisov - FC Barcelona
After a thrashing win against Rayo Vallecano (5-2) with an outstanding performance of Neymar, Barça is back in action at the UEFA Champions League in order to continue to lead Group E.
The Catalan team faces the match with the absences of the injured Lionel Messi, Rafinha and Andres Iniesta, while Thomas Vermaelen is back to the call after receiving a medical discharge. His rival, Bate, comes with high morale after being proclaimed champion of the Belarus League and having beaten AS Roma in the second match of the group stage (3-2).

Valencia CF - KAA Gent
Valencia started its European campaign with a defeat 2-3 against FC Zenit, but managed to recover with an important win against Olympique Lyonnaise (0-1). Now, after another big victory against Malaga CF in Liga BBVA, the "Che" side wants to maintain its upward trend.
Goalkeepers Mathew Ryan and Diego Alves are still recovering from injury, as defender Aymen Abdennour. Before the game, manager Nuno Espirito Santo has warned about the qualities of the opponent: "They have good players and are a compact team, very well organized in defense, and we know that it is not going to be easy." The Belgian team could only reap a point against Lyon so far.
